About CBItalia
The reference point for Italian MICE abroad
Convention Bureau Italia is a private national authority promoting tourism within the Meeting Industry.
It was officially founded in 2014 by the industry’s main associations - Federcongressi & Eventi, Associazione Italiana Confindustria Alberghi, Federturismo, Federalberghi, Confcommercio, ASSOHOTEL - Confesercenti - to assist operators.
CBItalia has been formally recognized by ENIT, the National Agency for Tourism, as the national convention bureau thanks to an official agreement that grants a straightforward collaboration when it comes to big international fairs and promotional activities, but also to continue designing and implementing together new important initiatives to further Italy’s global positioning in the sector of Business Destinations for the years to come.

Convention Bureau Italia is also recognized internationally, thanks to its participation in the Strategic European Alliance.
The strategic alliance unites all bodies and organisations working on national promotion within Europe.
The alliance was formalised by signing the Memorandum of Understanding.
